Rehabilitation Services
School to Work Transition Services
DRS services are available to help students with disabilities to move from high school to college, vocational school or to the world of work. Students are accepted by DRS while still in high school and can be referred to us by parents, teachers, school counselors or by themselves. Our counselors are available to meet with students at school, at home or at our office in downtown Duluth.
Services offered include but are not limited to:
- Special help with applications for school or financial aid for school.
- Referral to the special needs department at the school you choose to attend.
- Possible financial assistance depending on the family financial status.
- Job placement as part of a school program or as an independent service.
