Veterans Employment Representatives can provide veterans with:

CheckMarkIn person orientation to Minnesota WorkForce Center programs and procedures.
CheckMarkInformation on how to apply for Federal, State and County positions.
CheckMarkDirect referral to job openings.
CheckMarkJob search information, résumé assistance, cover letters,  job search videos, etc.
CheckMarkInformation and referral to appropriate agencies and services.
CheckMarkEligibility determination for special programs and services to employ/train veterans.
CheckMarkInformation on veterans employment benefits, rights, and preferences.
CheckMarkCase management and employment assistance for Chapter 31 disabled veterans.
CheckMarkInstruction and training on use of the internet for job searches.

County Veterans Service Officers:
Any questions in regards to V.A.  Disability,   Claims-Burial Benefits, V.A. Insurance, Discharge Upgrading, V.A. Home Loans, Education Benefits,  etc. can be answered by your local Veterans Service Officer.   Recently discharged veterans should take a copy of their (DD-214) Military Separation Paper to the Veterans Service Officer to have it permanently recorded.
